Description:
The Terrichaki are a nomadic, sentient race of large insects. They stand on their rear legs, giving them an odd, humanoid stance, while their abdomens are made up of a long and extremely flexible tail, tipped with a needle-like barb. Their middle legs and in flexible claws, able to manipulate objects like human hands. The front legs are by far the longest, and are positioned high above the Terrichaki's head. These legs are used like organic katanas, and serve as deadly weapons. The heads of the Terrichaki are like that of an ant, though they have a notable crest, as well as a double pair of mandibles. Their carapace is completely black, save the barbed stinger, which is a dull red.
Behaviour:
While little is known about the Terrichaki, many consider them inherently evil. This is no surprise, as the Terrichaki feast on human flesh. At night, they will slip their way past even the most heavily guarded areas and kidnap sleeping victims, subduing them with their poison barbs. Just as silently, they will carry their victims back to their nest, where they will encase the person in webbing and begin a week long torture. By the end of the week, the victim will be dead, and the Terrichaki will feast. By nightfall, the swarm will set out again, searching for victims once again.
Powers:
Poison Barb- The Terrichaki's poison barb is capable f putting human sized targets into a deep slumber. It is also capable of injecting a toxin that causes immense pain to the target.
Sword Arms- As sharp as katanas, the Terrichaki can use these with deadly efficiency should they encounter the need to fight. In addition, they will also use their arms to pin victims against a wall or floor, by stabbing them into the victim's palms. That is, if they're too bored to use webs.
Agility- Terrichaki are extremely agile, not to mention fast. They can easily out manoeuvre opponents, leap over rivers, climb walls, jump off towers, and dodge projectiles.
Strength- Terrichaki are gifted with enormous physical strength. After all, it makes it easier for them to carry victims back to their nest. It is estimated that they can carry up to two tons.
Carapace- Terrickaki are covered from head to toe in a black carapace, which is able to withstand even their own bladed arms, as well as up to four tons of physical force. In short, Terrickaki are very tough to kill.
Stealth- Terrichaki are incredibly stealthy creatures, able to sneak into heavily guarded locations without being noticed.
